Corporate Tax Strategist Role

We are seeking a senior corporate tax strategist to lead complex transactions and drive strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead global tax due diligence and structuring for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
  • Advise on tax implications for domestic and cross-border deals.
  • Collaborate with M&A legal strategy and finance to align tax and business goals.
  • Review tax clauses in transaction documentation.
  • Monitor tax law changes affecting transaction activity.
  • Support tax reporting compliance and integration post-deal.
  • Liaise with external advisors and regulatory bodies.
  • Support Australian tax office reviews and global tax audits relating to major projects.
  • Ensure group compliance with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized and efficient.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced degree in accounting or related field.
