Job Overview

Respect Aged Care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to deliver exceptional nursing care to our residents in a Full-time position.

This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote the health and well-being of our residents, while adhering to the standards set by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical and documentation skills, as well as experience in aged care and ACFI assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile comprehensive histories from residents and/or family members to identify care needs through resident admissions and ongoing assessments.
  • Develop and maintain high-level documentation reflecting accurate care delivery.
  • Complete ACFI assessments and contribute to maximizing income.
  • Assist in implementing, contributing to, and evaluating resident care plans as directed by your supervisor.
  • Administer medications to residents and assume responsibility for correct ordering, storage, and documentation procedures in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role, each candidate must satisfy legislative requirements for Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability for work in the aged care industry.

Requirements
  • Successful completion of a minimum Diploma of Nursing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience, preferably in aged care.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
  • Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care.
  • Current National Police Certificate or ability to acquire.
  • Knowledge of the standards required by the government for the delivery of aged care.
  • An understanding of the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
  • Strong clinical and documentation skills.
  • An understanding of the aged care accreditation process.

The successful candidate will receive an annual salary within the range of $68,000 - $80,000, exclusive of superannuation.
