About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Survey Drafter to join our team at RPS Incorporated. As a key member of our surveying team, you will play a pivotal role in generating clear, comprehensive, and precise working and detailed plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare various plan types, including survey, cadastral, topographical detail, as constructed, town planning, and environmental plans.
  • Develop subdivision design and associated calculations.
  • Work closely with planners and surveyors to contribute to the success of projects from inception to delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry changes and developments to stay informed and relevant.
  • Develop job knowledge and expertise through continual professional growth.
Requirements
  • Completed or undertaking an undergraduate degree in surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of drafting experience within the surveying environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills using AutoCAD.
  • Competency levels with other survey software such as SurvaCAD, Magnet, 12D, Civil3D, or similar.
  • Familiarity with GIS software such as Mapinfo, Arcview Global Mapper, or similar.
