Enterprise Mainframe Application Developer

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Mainframe Application Developer to design, develop and maintain complex software applications on mainframe systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leveraging your technical expertise in programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, and IMS Database to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop robust software applications using COBOL, JCL, and IMS Database, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  2. Maintain and troubleshoot existing software applications, identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
Mandatory/Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • COBOL: Proven experience in developing and maintaining COBOL-based applications.
  • JCL: Skilled in using JCL to manage job execution and resource allocation.
  • IMS Database: Proficient in working with IMS Database to ensure data integrity and security.
  • PL1 Coding Experience: Familiarity with PL1 coding and its application in mainframe development.
