Technical and Training Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the ramp up and preparedness of sovereign capability in Townsville. You will lead, manage and mentor the Townsville workforce undergoing training in Diploma Aeroskills and Cert II Aircraft Line Maintenance pathways.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and management to our trainees, driving exceptional performance and results.
  • Collaborate with leadership to integrate efforts and deliver outstanding outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
About the Role:

As a Technical and Training Manager, you will be responsible for managing personnel recruitment and onboarding, mandatory training, site access, leave, time accounting and on-the-job skilling for apprentices and aircraft workers. You will also support the Maintenance Operations Manager in governing a multidisciplinary team of employees and Subcontractors delivering technical and logistics services to the 1 Aviation Regiment (1Avn) Operational Unit at RAAF Base Townsville and Army Aviation Training Centre (AAvnTC).
