We are seeking a skilled Animator to join our team at AGS LLC. As an Animator, you will be responsible for creating engaging animations for our games, working closely with our Game Designers, Artists, Sound Designers, and Software Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality animations to game design and engineering specifications.
  • Create 2D and 3D animation assets based on 2D artwork.
  • Collaborate with the art team to ensure best practices and processes are followed in game development.
  • Contribute to process improvements to increase productivity and visual quality of our games.
  • Stay up-to-date with new graphic techniques, trends, and styles in the industry.

Requirements

  • Degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in 2D animation tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Spine, and Unity.
  • Knowledge of 3D animation techniques and tools such as Blender, 3D Studio Max, or Maya.
  • Ability to accurately rig complex 2D/3D characters and write scripts for ease of animation.
  • Experience with Unity and Alienbrain is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of design basics, including lighting, composition, perspective, texturing, colors, etc.

Desirable Skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to take and give constructive feedback.
  • Previous gaming industry experience.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivation and proactivity in getting tasks done.

This role requires your presence in our office in Macquarie Park, NSW, Australia, as the work cannot be done remotely.
