About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Radiographer to join our team at the Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH). As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans on animals, working closely with veterinarians and nurses to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans on animals, ensuring accurate and high-quality images
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and nurses to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to radiation safety protocols
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging techniques and technologies

Requirements:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in radiography recognized by the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
  • Hold current registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Diagnostic Radiography) with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
  • Have experience in medical MRI, with a strong understanding of imaging principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
