Are you looking to expand your expertise and make a lasting impact in a dynamic field? As a Forensic Occupational Therapist, you will work with individuals to develop rehabilitation pathways and provide evidence-based interventions. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that supports the rehabilitation of people in custody and in the community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled occupational therapist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services. Your role will involve working within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model to deliver individualised services including comprehensive assessments, clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and preparation of treatment plans and reports.

  • You will work closely with other clinicians and stakeholders to develop and implement person-centred rehabilitation pathways.
  • You will use evidence-based assessment tools to inform your practice and ensure the highest quality of care.
  • You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in critical areas such as Violent Extremism, Restorative Justice, and Family Violence.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality services and contributing to the achievement of our goals. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

To apply for this role, you must be registered as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
