Cloud Data Architect

A prominent organization is seeking a Cloud Data Architect to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based data platforms.

This role requires expertise in designing and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and dbt.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and security principles, particularly within Azure.

  • Lead the strategic design, expansion, and optimization of a secure, scalable, and high-performing data platform
  • Implement cloud security best practices within Azure, ensuring data protection through access controls, encryption, and compliance
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and dbt for efficient data processing

Candidates with hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation in cloud environments are highly sought after.

Additionally, effective cross-functional collaboration with analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing robust data validation, monitoring, and quality assurance processes
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of data workflows
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable data solutions

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering and full-stack software development.

Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL, as well as hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation, are essential.

The ability to implement robust data validation, monitoring, and quality assurance processes to ensure reliable and performant data delivery is crucial.
