About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tenancy Manager to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As a key member of our property and development team, you will play a crucial role in managing residential tenancies across various programs, including those for families and refugees/asylum-seekers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tenancy Management: Oversee tenancy management services, ensuring compliance with Residential Tenancies legislation and maintaining strong relationships with real estate agents and owners.
  • Property Management: Manage head-leased properties, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard and collaborating with support services to sustain tenancies and achieve program outcomes.
  • Tenant Services: Coordinate tenant interactions from inquiry to exit, including rent collection and financial obligations, and ensure proactive communication with tenants and neighbors to promote tenancy sustainment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with support services, real estate agents, and property owners to deliver positive outcomes for tenants and achieve program goals.
About You
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in tenancy management, ideally within a supportive housing model, with a strong understanding of Residential Tenancies legislation and dispute resolution techniques.
  • Skillset: Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently to deliver positive outcomes for tenants.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of tenancy management systems, including Console Property and Tenancy Management, and an understanding of chronic homelessness issues and the needs of vulnerable populations.
