About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Youth Coach to join our team. As a Youth Coach, you will play a vital role in empowering young people to overcome complex barriers to employment, education, and training. You will work closely with young people aged 15 to 24, connecting their needs with the needs of the local labour market, and providing ongoing, intensive interventions and support to mentor them into sustainable employment and vocational pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver innovative activity-based groups to support young people in achieving their goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners to create job opportunities for young people
  • Provide direct case management and support to young people, addressing complex barriers to employment and education
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs of young people
Requirements
  • Certificate IV (or above) in Mental Health, Youth Work, Community Services, or Career Development
  • Proven experience in job seeker service delivery and mentoring
  • Strong computer skills with competency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid Working Children's Check or Police Check
