Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly, responsive, and helpful service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Sales Processing: Accurately process sales transactions through the register and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Stock Management: Ensure fresh and appealing displays by maintaining clean and well-stocked shelves, rotating stock regularly, and accurately pricing products.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, resolve customer complaints, and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read product labels and understand customer queries.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and peak periods.
  • Physical Demands: Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for long periods, lifting shopping bags and items from stock rooms, and operating equipment safely.
  • Computer Skills: Demonstrate basic computer skills, including the ability to use devices for stocktakes and maintain accurate records.
