We are seeking a highly skilled SME Underwriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in underwriting new and renewal business.

About the Role:
  • Undertake thorough risk assessments and analysis of data to determine accurate premiums and policy terms
  • Maintain strong relationships with brokers and other stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and expertise
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that supports broker partners through offering a high level of underwriting service and expertise.

Key Requirements:
  • ANZIIF Associate Insurance qualifications (desired)
  • Experience in SME Packages (desired)
  • Strong understanding of underwriting principles and relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
