Key Job Details

This role involves working in an occupational setting and implementing strategies for psychosocial risk and work design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology, behavioral health or public health.

The key responsibilities of this position include developing strategies to manage psychosocial risks, collaborating with the WHS Manager to achieve health, safety and wellness goals, and implementing programs for occupational health, wellness, injury prevention and return to work.

The successful candidate will be able to conduct key risk assessments, participate in incident investigations, ensure compliance with Australian WHS legislation and compile metrics and reports on key data points.

Additional duties will include facilitating incident investigation processes, participating in WHS audits and inspections, and supporting site operations in implementing WHS and wellness programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, behavioral health, public health or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an occupational setting
  • Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation
