Role Overview

AUSTRAC's Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism regulator and financial intelligence unit detects, deters, and disrupts criminal exploitation of the Australian financial system.

We collaborate with industry partners to build a secure financial environment free from abuse.

Key Responsibilities

The Director, Enforcement leads strategy development and implementation. They provide leadership to Enforcement teams to deliver agreed outcomes.

They lead investigations and litigation, exercising complex professional judgement in Enforcement matters.

Representing AUSTRAC externally, they liaise with stakeholders and exercise approved delegations as per legal requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen at time of application.

You will need to undergo pre-engagement checks and obtain ongoing Baseline Security Clearance.
