About the Role

Take on a challenging opportunity to develop your skills in payroll management, reporting and compliance.

This role is an excellent chance to work closely with a highly experienced and supportive payroll manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee details, leave balances and pay adjustments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of salaries, superannuation and other entitlements.
  • Interpret and apply relevant awards, enterprise agreements and workplace legislation.
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting and audits as required.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional manner.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous payroll experience managing a fortnightly pay run.
  • Exposure to medium to large payroll systems.
  • Experience with award interpretation is essential.
  • A deep understanding of payroll legislation and processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines independently.
