Professional Counsellor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate counsellor to deliver high-quality support services to individuals, couples, children, and families across the community.

This rewarding position involves providing professional counselling and support services to those facing complex challenges such as domestic and family violence, separation, trauma, or parenting difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver trauma-informed, client-centred counselling services
  • Facilitate therapeutic and psycho-educational groups
  • Manage intake and assessment processes
  • Maintain accurate records and data collection
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, planning, and evaluation activities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure holistic care
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Strong understanding of Domestic & Family Violence, Child Protection, and Family Law
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
