Position Overview:

- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness within a healthcare environment, including wards, restrooms, kitchens, offices, meeting spaces, and clinics.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of communal areas, elevators, and staircases.
- Replenish supplies in patient, staff, and public restroom facilities and bathing areas.
- Manage linen and waste disposal, along with equipment handling.
- Ensure the secure collection and delivery of patient documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist in de-escalation situations and prioritize the safety of healthcare personnel, visitors, and patients.
- Transport of deceased individuals as required.
- Must demonstrate self-motivation and integrity to work independently.
- Effective time management skills are essential to complete tasks to a high standard.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive communication with all stakeholders.
- Undergo Hepatitis B screening as part of employment requirements.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team while exhibiting individual competence and maturity.
- Availability to work weekends and occasional split shifts is necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Previous experience in cleaning roles is advantageous, though full training will be provided.
- National Police clearance required, issued within the last 12 months.
- Self-motivated individuals who can demonstrate initiative are preferred.
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills are essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are necessary.
- Candidates should be physically fit and energetic.
- Reliability and self-motivation are key attributes.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (2 doses + 1 booster) is mandatory for this position.
- Please note that eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential, along with a valid driver's license and access to personal transportation.
