Job Title: Senior Postal Delivery Officer

This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic delivery environment where you will be responsible for delivering letters and parcels to the community.

  • Support the team with deliveries during leave or covering current routes.
  • Sort mail and parcels in the mornings.
  • Deliver to multiple routes, covering varied areas.
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks.
  • Loading your vehicle with deliveries.
  • Delivering outdoors in all weather conditions to homes and businesses.
  • Provide friendly customer service.
  • Work with Rider Mentors for professional development.

Key Requirements:

  • Hold a QLD car and/or motorcycle license.
  • Experience in courier/delivery is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Be resilient and adaptable under pressure.
  • Have good memory, hand/eye coordination, and attention to detail.
  • Enjoy physical work and can lift up to 16kg regularly.
  • Be flexible to work additional hours as needed.
  • Meet vehicle load limits: under 100kg for motorcycles, under 120kg for EDVs.
