About the Role

This role involves providing spiritual care to individuals and their families.

You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

The successful candidate will have experience in providing pastoral/spiritual care to people in a community context.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Providing spiritual guidance and support to individuals and their families.
  2. Conducting appraisals of the religious, pastoral and spiritual wellbeing of individuals and their families.
  3. Liaising with local churches and other faith communities.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary theological qualification and Clinical Pastoral Education (min 2 units).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in providing pastoral/spiritual care to people in a community context.
  • Experience in successfully training/managing/supervising volunteers.
