Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) Coordinator to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing LOTO procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement LOTO procedures for equipment, including creating switching orders when applicable.
  • Maintain and update LOTO mimic boards to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate site LOTO-related activities, working closely with all parties to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct training sessions on LOTO procedures for affected personnel, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Perform daily LOTO tailboards, addressing any questions or concerns and maintaining records of site LOTO-related activities.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with LOTO procedures and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in investigations of incidents related to LOTO failures, proposing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a university diploma in Engineering or equivalent, who has previous experience in developing and implementing lockout/tagout procedures. You should have a strong understanding of safety regulations and standards, as well as excellent communication and training skills.
