Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective lockout/tagout procedures for equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintain and update LOTO mimic boards to reflect changes in equipment and procedures.
  • Coordinate site-wide LOTO activities, collaborating with all parties to ensure seamless execution.
  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions on LOTO procedures to affected personnel, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Conduct daily LOTO tailboards, addressing questions and concerns, and maintaining accurate records of site activities and training sessions.
  • Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to LOTO procedures, identifying areas for improvement and proposing corrective actions.
  • Participate in incident investigations related to LOTO failures, analyzing root causes and developing strategies for prevention.
  • Act as a safety advocate, promptly reporting concerns to the General Site Manager or designated delegate.

Your Profile

  • Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong understanding of safety regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrate experience in developing and implementing lockout/tagout procedures, with a proven track record of success.
  • Be proficient in technical and operational knowledge of safety regulations and standards, with excellent communication and training skills.
  • Exhibit a collaborative team player approach, with a customer- and people-oriented mindset, and a proactive attitude towards anticipating challenges and delivering solutions.
  • Be fully computer literate, with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, and able to communicate effectively in English in an international team environment.
  • Meet the physical requirements of the role, including passing a pre-employment medical, Drug & Alcohol test, and Police check.

Site Conditions

  • Work a typical roster of days in, 7 days out, with camp accommodation provided.
  • Be available for night shifts, with a focus on ensuring the safe and efficient execution of LOTO procedures.
