Civil Design Career Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our team in Canberra. The role will suit a professional with expertise in multi-disciplined civil projects for councils, local government, main roads, or developers.

Working as part of the team, you will ensure that all projects are completed in accordance with relevant standards, specifications, and drawings.

  • Oversight and management of projects, drafters, and designers to guarantee work output is of a technically high standard and commercially viable for the business.
  • Leadership of the Project Design team through the provision of accurate and effective design documentation in an efficient manner.
  • Technical support to the Business Unit in the completion of design and documentation for transport, urban development, civil infrastructure, and sports fields.

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • An Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of design experience in an engineering consultancy as a civil designer.
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements.
