We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Support Worker to join our team, providing assistance to elderly clients living at home and promoting their independence and choice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with domestic duties and household chores, including washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting
  • Prepare and cook meals, promoting healthy eating and hydration
  • Provide social support and encourage engagement in social activities, helping clients stay connected with their community
  • Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings, ensuring clients can maintain their independence
  • Offer respite care, giving carers a break and providing a much-needed rest
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Support Worker in Home Care or Disability is desirable
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community) is highly recommended
  • A valid NSW Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle are essential
  • Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate is required
  • Vaccination against Covid and Flu is highly recommended
  • Basic computer and smartphone working knowledge is necessary
