Senior Policy Researcher Position

We are seeking an ambitious early- to mid-career researcher with innovative policy-focused research agendas and a commitment to high-quality teaching. The role will be based in Canberra, ACT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach within our Master of Public Policy (MPP) and Master of Public Administration (MPA) programs.
  • Contribute to other educational activities, including executive education.
  • Play an important part in the life of the institution through research supervision, administrative/service duties, and participating in public and policy engagement activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in public policy or a cognate discipline in the social sciences, such as political science, economics, or sociology. They should have familiarity with policy issues in the Asia-Pacific and/or Australia and an emerging or established research agenda or policy engagement in the region. Due to current teaching needs, we are also keen to hear from candidates qualified to teach postgraduate coursework in research design, statistical analysis, and related methodological areas.
