BIM Specialist Role

Our company is seeking a skilled BIM Specialist to join our team. As a BIM Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining 3D models, supporting pre-construction with visualization and presentation, and participating in the research and implementation of construction technology.

About the Job

">

The BIM Specialist supports the Building Information Modeling process and works directly under the BIM Manager to facilitate jobsite construction using Virtual Design Construction (VDC) techniques. The Specialist creates 3D models on one complex project or multiple small projects and may assist with design validation and model maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date 3D models of construction projects
  • Support pre-construction teams with visualization and presentation tools
  • Participate in research and development of new construction technologies
  • Provide technical assistance and training to project teams
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures

Requirements

">

To be successful as a BIM Specialist, you should have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in BIM and VDC technologies. You should also have advanced knowledge of 3D/4D/5D BIM software and platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, etc.
