Job Title: Executive Chef Required

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to oversee the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen workflow.

About the Role:

The Executive Chef will lead a team of chefs in creating high-quality dishes that exceed customer expectations. They will work closely with management to develop menus, estimate food and labor costs, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing menu plans that meet customer preferences and seasonal produce availability
  • Estimating food and labor costs, and coordinating ordering of food supplies
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation throughout all stages of preparation and service
  • Demonstrating cooking techniques and providing guidance on food preparation procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
