Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join our multidisciplinary team in Adelaide.

This role would suit someone looking for a new challenge and interested in developing best practices with the local water industry. As part of this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Undertake wastewater hydraulic modelling to design and document work to industry-accepted standards
  • Manage and deliver projects in a timely and technically competent manner within the wastewater hydraulic modelling area
  • Represent us in a client-facing role, providing expert advice and guidance
  • Support hydrological and hydraulic modelling to assess wastewater networks, masterplanning, and capacity assessments
  • Project manage flooding projects, including staff management and financial control

About You

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering (Civil) or a related discipline, with experience in designing medium-large scale infrastructure projects for wastewater networks
  • Familiarity with Australian design standards, codes, and practices
  • An established track record of successful wastewater hydraulic modelling for Australian water utilities and councils
  • A proactive approach to personal and professional development
  • Eligibility to attain CPEng or CPEng preferred
  • Hydraulic modelling experience using software such as InfoWorks (ICM, WS Pro), DHI (MIKE URBAN, MIKE+), Epanet, or similar tools
