As a Water Infrastructure Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our water distribution systems. You will apply your expertise in hydraulic modeling, system planning, and infrastructure investigations to inform business decisions, support network performance, and enable sustainable growth.
Duties and Responsibilities- Proactively contribute to team objectives by completing allocated tasks, participating in decision-making, and fostering a culture of service excellence.
- Uphold safety standards for yourself and others, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and maintaining fitness for work.
- Develop and support growth plans for existing and future water infrastructure using network models to meet current and future requirements.
- Maintain and develop water distribution hydraulic models, support consultancy briefs, and assist with GIS/IT tool customization.
- Respond to technical queries principally growth related within agreed timelines.
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience.
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling software, water distribution system planning, GIS, data, and water infrastructure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders.
