We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team.
Job Description:
- Perform manual and automated diagnostic testing using various laboratory equipment.
- Store and retrieve specimens in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Manage records and maintain accurate documentation of laboratory tests and results.
- Assist with stock control, ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma of Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualification.
- Previous laboratory experience, preferably in diagnostic testing, is desirable.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety and quality assurance processes and procedures.
