About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Chef De Partie to join our team at Norths Collective, a forward-thinking and innovative hospitality group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes that showcase our commitment to sustainability and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes.
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
- Monitor and maintain proper portion and stock control to optimize food costs and minimize waste.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring they align with our brand's culinary vision.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict health and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and exceptional customer experiences.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of health and hygiene standards, as well as Workplace Health & Safety legislation.
- Excellent food quality control skills, with a focus on presentation and plating.
- HACCP accreditation and current Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
- Chef Trade qualifications and a passion for culinary innovation.
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
