About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Maintenance Engineer to join our team as a Power Station Operator Maintainer—Mechanical (FIFO). This role involves maintaining remote power stations and requires a strong background in mechanical trades and heavy industry experience.

The successful candidate will have experience working with OEMs such as Wartsila, Jenbacher, MTU, and Cummins, and possess a solid understanding of engine rebuilds, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute planned maintenance activities, including unscheduled maintenance on power generation equipment and associated ancillary equipment.
  • Maintain and update service records.
  • Ensure adherence to Zenith's HSE and environmental policies.
  • Act as a relief Power Station operator as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Hold 3 years' experience in a Mechanical trade.
  • Have heavy industry or power generation experience in a maintenance role.
  • Possess experience in engine rebuilds, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
  • Have remote site or FIFO experience.
  • Be familiar with tradesperson level ERP experience (Pronto, Ellipse, SAP).
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate good mechanical aptitude.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Hold a current WA C class driver's license.
  • Possess a Mechanical Trade Certificate.
  • Hold a First Aid certificate.
  • Pass a National Police Clearance and Pre-employment Medical.
  • Have the right to work in Australia.
