The role of a broadcast engineer is crucial in the development and testing of IP-based broadcast solutions.
This individual will be responsible for designing and maintaining a scalable on-premise 2110 broadcast lab facility, installing and configuring third-party video/audio solutions, integrating and maintaining COTS hardware solutions, developing and maintaining baseline lab environment configurations, assisting development teams with end-to-end test workflows, providing clear documentation for users and commissioning teams, and consulting with stakeholders to support operational goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience in broadcast media network standards (NMOS, ST2022, ST2110)
- Hands-on approach to building and maintaining broadcast equipment and facilities
- Proficiency with Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies
- Familiarity with scripting, automation, and troubleshooting tools
