Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our team at DuluxGroup. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and advice to our customers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our iconic brands and be part of a supportive and flexible culture. You will be given training and support to deliver exceptional customer service and provide accurate product knowledge in the areas of paint and other coatings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing an exceptional customer experience to all customers
  • Providing product knowledge in the areas of paint and other coatings
  • Accurately mixing and tinting product, including colour matching
  • Handling cash and operating EFTPOS

Requirements

  • Confident with people and great communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers, customers, and clients
  • Demonstrate a level of physical ability to work with paint and other heavy products in store
  • Possess an interest in our products
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to problem-solve customer issues
  • Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations
  • Can-do attitude and passion for customer service
  • Enjoy building relationships and approaching customers in store
