About the Role

A rare part-time in-house opportunity has arisen for an experienced lawyer to join a lean legal team as Senior Legal Counsel. Reporting to an experienced and supportive General Counsel, you will handle a broad range of matters with an emphasis on workplace relations matters and dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities will include coordinating and driving all aspects of dispute resolution with a focus on workplace related issues, assisting with the management of litigation in other areas, advising the wider business on workplace relations matters, and drafting, reviewing and advising on employment contracts, industrial and enterprise agreements and workplace related policies.

About You

You will be a workplace relations lawyer with at least 8-10 years' experience obtained with a reputable law firm and preferably in-house. Experience in litigation or dispute resolution is essential. Strong negotiating and commercial drafting skills are required. You will be a confident and clear communicator who is able to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
