Heavy Vehicle Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team as a Supervisor. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for leading a small team and ensuring all service work is completed to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure technicians produce clear and concise reports detailing all work carried out.
  • Test drive/complete inspections of work in accordance with the service check sheet.
  • Ensure that the workshop area, tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained to a high standard at all times.
  • Work as part of a team to maintain company standards for productivity, technician efficiency and recovery rates.
  • Practice and promote all OHS regulations ensuring standard operating procedures are adhered to.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician with required trade certificate/qualification.
  • Previous supervision skills/experience an advantage.
  • Current HR licence.
  • High level of problem-solving/diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent ability to impart acquired knowledge to both technicians and apprentices.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills.
  • Attention to detail with a customer focus.
