About the Role

We are seeking a talented Guest Service Agent to deliver world-class experiences and create a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home. Your role will involve being the face of our hotel, responsible for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable moments for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests with a warm and genuine smile, making them feel valued and appreciated.
  • Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, providing personalized attention and ensuring they feel recognized.
  • Process payments for guest bookings, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Streamline the check-in and check-out process, making it swift and seamless for our guests.
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of our guests, offering tailored recommendations and turning issues into opportunities.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a Front Office position or with Opera (PMS) is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills - guests will come to you with concerns as well as compliments.
  • Problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities.
  • Availability to work a rotating roster, including shifts on weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Open availability is highly advantageous.
  • Fluency in the local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential.
  • Literate and tech-savvy - you'll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computer skills.
