The role of DS Nursing Assistant involves providing exceptional care and support to donors at our Australian facilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are comfortable with needles and blood/biological materials, can lift up to 22.7 kg, and are flexible to work varied shifts on a rotating roster.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interview potential donors to assess their eligibility and suitability to donate
- Create a positive and welcoming environment for donors
- Conduct routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests
- Set up machines and equipment for blood collection
- Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets
- Monitor donors post-donation and assist with scheduling their next donation
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve collection targets
Qualifications & Requirements
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Frequently stand, walk, and bend to set up and pack down equipment
- Be flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends and afternoon shifts
- Support and foster a positive team culture
