Design and Technology Teacher Job Description

The Design and Technology Teacher role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a specialist in this subject discipline. As a key member of our Technologies faculty, you will be responsible for teaching a range of Australian Curriculum and Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS) courses, with a focus on delivering high-quality learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Teach Design and Technology subjects to students at various year levels
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Australian Curriculum and BSSS standards
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master in Teaching degree
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
