About the Role

We are looking for caring and motivated individuals to work with us in maintaining the hygiene standards of our facilities. As a Domestic Services Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out domestic tasks such as cleaning residents' rooms, communal areas, and common living spaces.

  • Carry out domestic tasks to maintain hygiene standards in a home-like environment
  • Cleaning residents' rooms including ensuites, furniture, and equipment, as appropriate, and communal and administrative areas
  • Ensure common living areas, hallways, and all other areas of the facility (including front entrance courtyards, verandas) are maintained in a clean and tidy and safe condition

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have interpersonal skills, patience, and an understanding of client service. You will also need to be able to operate with discretion and maintain complete confidentiality.

  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work without supervision
  • Well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees, and volunteers
