Editorial Opportunities

LexisNexis is seeking an experienced editor to join our team. As a key member of our publishing team, you will be responsible for editing manuscripts to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Edit manuscripts to ensure accuracy, currency, relevance and consistency with house style
  • Manage end-to-end publishing processes for key publications including XML coding and use editorial tools for efficient updating and compilation of hardcopy services
  • Coordinate with external editorial support teams to ensure smooth and timely processing of updated content
  • Develop awareness of practice area developments, legislative reforms, case law and trends impacting your portfolio and collaborate with authors to translate these developments into enhancements for our customers
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • A law degree or demonstrated legal practice area knowledge is highly preferred
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Prior editing or publishing experience would be advantageous
