About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to join our team at a manufacturing site.

  1. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment, including maintenance routines and troubleshooting
  2. Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement solutions, promoting efficiency and reliability
  3. Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
  4. Develop and implement effective resolution strategies for plant failures, minimizing downtime and costs
  5. Participate in capital projects and improvement initiatives, driving process improvements and innovation
  6. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, reporting and monitoring as required
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing timely and transparent updates on maintenance progress and outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong working knowledge of preventative maintenance strategies, including condition-based maintenance and predictive analytics
  • Experience working in a structured maintenance team with accountability for KPI delivery and results-driven performance
  • A proactive attitude, commitment to producing high-quality work, and a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes
  • A high level of knowledge and commitment to Work Health and Safety (WHS) and risk management principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders and communicate complex information
  • Formal trade qualifications or equivalent experience in a related field
  • An intermediate level of computer literacy, with proficiency in software applications and tools used in maintenance operations
