
Tradesperson Maintenance Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to join our team at a manufacturing site.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment, including maintenance routines and troubleshooting
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement solutions, promoting efficiency and reliability
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Develop and implement effective resolution strategies for plant failures, minimizing downtime and costs
- Participate in capital projects and improvement initiatives, driving process improvements and innovation
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, reporting and monitoring as required
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing timely and transparent updates on maintenance progress and outcomes
- A strong working knowledge of preventative maintenance strategies, including condition-based maintenance and predictive analytics
- Experience working in a structured maintenance team with accountability for KPI delivery and results-driven performance
- A proactive attitude, commitment to producing high-quality work, and a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes
- A high level of knowledge and commitment to Work Health and Safety (WHS) and risk management principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders and communicate complex information
- Formal trade qualifications or equivalent experience in a related field
- An intermediate level of computer literacy, with proficiency in software applications and tools used in maintenance operations
