Early Childhood Education Leader Opportunity

At the Y, we're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Education Leader to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of educational programs that promote children's well-being, development, and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children;
  • Lead a team of educators in delivering high-quality educational experiences;
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and external stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliance with policies and procedures;

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education (Diploma or equivalent);
  • Proven experience in leadership roles within early childhood education settings;
  • Strong understanding of child development theories and evidence-based practices;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • A comprehensive working knowledge of approved learning frameworks;
  • Ability to coach and mentor others effectively;
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification;
  • Blue Card or willingness to obtain one;
