Job Summary:

We are seeking a professional to provide guidance, advice and assistance on workplace issues, offering a referral service to assist apprentices and support the successful participation and completion of their apprenticeship.

The role involves working with apprentices, employers and other stakeholders to promote a positive and supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to engage non-judgementally with a youth cohort and have a strong understanding of the VET sector and the apprenticeship system within Australia.

  • Provide strategic guidance and support to apprentices and employers on workplace issues.
  • Offer a referral service to assist apprentices and support the successful participation and completion of their apprenticeship.
  • Work collaboratively with apprentices, employers and other stakeholders to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. VET, community services, youth, mentoring, apprenticeship services) and/or trade qualifications or experience of an apprenticeship.
  • A thorough understanding of the VET sector and the apprenticeship system within Australia and demonstrated experience in providing client support to apprentices or similar cohorts.
