Job Title: Apprenticeship Support Specialist

Chisholm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Apprenticeship Support Specialist. This exciting opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of apprentices, supporting them throughout their journey.

About the Role:
  • Provide timely, relevant, and comprehensive guidance to apprentices on various issues, including wages, training contracts, workplace safety, bullying/discrimination, and general wellbeing.
  • Manage a caseload of apprentices for a specified district, providing ongoing support for those identified as requiring mentoring and support to improve student retention.
  • Act as a key liaison and advisor to apprentices during the early stages of their apprenticeship by promoting the program and providing information and guidance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Sound knowledge of and experience working within the apprenticeship field.
  • Demonstrated skills in counselling or youth development, including those from disadvantaged groups.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to self-manage caseloads.
  • Clear and concise written communication skills to produce complex reports on sensitive issues.
