Job Summary

The Clinical Support Technician position plays a vital role in the Surgical Assessment Unit, supporting medical and nursing staff to facilitate patient flow through the surgical assessment unit and surgical division.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist registered nurses in delivering high-quality patient care, including activities of daily living.
  • Support clinical procedures, preparing patients and equipment for treatment.
  • Develop and deliver clinical care, learning required skills for venepuncture and other procedures.
  • Participate in cardiac arrest teams and emergency situations.
  • Work effectively within a team, adapting to service needs.
