Speech Pathologist

An exciting opportunity for a Speech Pathologist has arisen at Star HR, where you will be working with a welcoming and established non-for-profit service in the Mornington region.
- This permanent or contracting position offers a generous salary of up to $110,000 base + super + non-for-profit loading, along with flexible options and a wonderful multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and be passionate about facilitating meaningful outcomes for children or adults with a disability and their families. A current driver's license and car are also required.
As a Speech Pathologist with this non-for-profit service, you will be responsible for undertaking assessments and providing intervention, liaising with families, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders. You will work in various settings, including homes, schools, and clinics, with a focus on evidence-based practice.
With a contract on a fee-for-service basis, your caseload will be tailored to your interests and availability. Alternatively, if you prefer a permanent role, you will participate in regular supervision and support, provide encouragement to other team members, and contribute to group interventions.
The successful candidate will possess good written and verbal communication skills, be able to build rapport with clients and families, and ensure therapy is engaging and fun. Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and First Aid training are also essential requirements.
