Job Role

Trades Development Trainee role offers the opportunity to become a skilled tradesperson by gaining hands-on experience and developing skills in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance of assets through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities
  • Implement programmed works in conjunction with team leaders and members
  • Follow direction from experienced tradespeople
  • Undertake additional training as required
  • Develop skills and experience to provide high-quality plumbing services to assets through continuous learning and development of trade-related practices
  • Learn and apply new skills to specified standards
  • Maximise productivity through industry best practices
  • Attend scheduled training sessions to successfully complete all requirements
  • Review position description for a full list of duties
You will have
  • Completed NSW record of School Achievement or pre-apprenticeship
  • Class C Driver's Licence (or in process of acquiring)
  • Ability to develop and learn new skills
  • Effective communication skills to establish common goals
  • Ability to work and contribute as part of a self-managing team
  • Capacity to work in a multi-project environment and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated high work standards
  • Initiative and drive to succeed in chosen field
  • 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year apprentices welcome to apply
