Project Oversight Specialist

Job Description:

The role of Project Oversight Specialist involves overseeing and managing multiple HVAC projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals, ensure project timelines and budgets are met, and deliver high-quality results to clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams for timely and efficient project delivery
  • Developing and implementing detailed project plans, managing resources and timelines to meet project objectives
  • Identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and challenges impacting project delivery, and implementing effective strategies to address them
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations
Key Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC industry
  • Proven track record of delivering complex HVAC projects with a strong understanding of construction methods, technologies, and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Proficient in project management software and tools with a keen eye for detail and analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Membership or accreditation with a professional industry body (e.g., AIRAH, HVAC&R Society)
