About BaptistCare Bethshan Gardens
We are a leading for-purpose Christian-based care organisation that supports thousands of people across NSW, ACT and WA.
Bethshan Gardens consists of 134 single rooms with ensuites set within a configuration of seven cottages.
All cottages have lounge rooms and kitchen facilities with spacious rooms which can be customised with your own personal belongings.
Flat screen TVs are provided and telephone, Internet and Foxtel services are available at an optional extra cost.
Bethshan is surrounded by plenty of outdoor space and gardens, offering a welcoming, secure and a safe environment for our residents.
Salary: $24.92/hr + Super + Salary Packaging Benefits
About the Role
You will report to the Chef Manager and work in a team to provide high-quality meals to our residents.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring a clean and safe working environment and reporting any incidents or hazards.
Duties may include:
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assisting with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
- Reporting and documenting incidents and near misses.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in kitchen and cleaning along with understanding of work health and safety practices.
You will also need to be able to work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasks.
